Human Rights

Experiencing discrimination is traumatic and dehumanizing. Sometimes discrimination is blatant, other times it is a more subtle pattern that reveals itself over time.

Marshall Law has extensive experience advocating for human rights. We represent people who have been discriminated against on the basis of race, religion, gender identity, disability and age. We have a particular expertise in handling cases involving women who have experienced sexism or ageism in the workplace and pregnancy discrimination. This includes situations where women have been fired or demoted after returning from a maternity leave or after announcing a pregnancy or IVF treatment.

Marshall Law ensures that human rights violators are held to account. Kathryn Marshall has advocated in the Canadian Human Rights Commission as well as provincial human rights tribunals across the country.
