Merissa recently completed her second year of law school at the Lincoln Alexander School of Law at Toronto Metropolitan University. Prior to law school, she obtained a Bachelor of Arts Honours from Queens University, majoring in Political Science. During her studies, Merissa has developed a strong interest in social justice, advocacy, and dispute resolution.
At law school, Merissa channels these interests through her work with the Pro Bone-o Pet Dispute Clinic, where she serves as a Case Coordinator. Moreover, her passion for employment law stems from her past experience working as a Legal Research Assistant for a boutique employment & human rights firm.
In her spare time, Merissa enjoys yoga, exploring new cafes, and spending time with her family, friends, and two dogs.
